A tail light is a legal necessity and also a pretty dang helpful piece of equipment for the other chopper pilots you run around with. Weld your Ripple to the sissy bar! French it into a molded '70s-style frame! Metal hot-glue it to your license bracket! If you can weld, you can figure out a cool place to mount this thing. The housing is 1 7/8" in diameter, and it's 1" deep. (All the ripples give you mounting options if you're stuffing this thing between sissy rails. The name makes sense now, right?) And for a neat-o look, these lights ship with both a flat and a domed lens.
The lighting element is 1 1/4" in diameter, and dual filament, so it can act as a stop light and a tail light. The Ripple is LED, which is perfect for a chopper: it's bright and visible so you don't get run over, it has a minimal electrical draw, and since the life on LED elements is so long, install it and it's likely you never need to service it again.
