TC Bros. 11.8" Front Floating Brake Rotor for 2006-2025 Harley-Davidson
TC Bros. 11.8" Front Floating Brake Rotor for 2006-2025 Harley-Davidson
Step up your stopping and your style with a TC Bros. full floating brake disc.
- Premium high carbon, heat treated 420 stainless steel friction surface provides durability and corrosion resistance
- Laser cut—not stamped—to reduce warping and distortion caused by residual part stresses
- Choice of styles
- Hardware (available separately) is required for many Harley-Davidson applications and strongly recommended for all Harley-Davidson motorcycles
- Precision-ground for optimal brake pad engagement
- CNC-machined billet aluminum carrier is strong, lightweight, and anodized for corrosion resistance
- Full floating design maintains disc alignment under braking and reduces heat transfer from friction material to carrier
- Riveted stainless buttons have more positive retention than c-clips and won't transfer heat to the carrier like aluminum fasteners
- Stainless steel disc spring washers permit the friction surface to float without the rattle
- Stringent manufacturing processes yield high-performance, precision braking feel
- Sold individually
A TC Bros. 11.8" floating brake rotor is an obvious upgrade if you want better braking feel, aggressive stopping, and modern, fresh style for your Harley-Davidson. The bimetallic design yields the best of both worlds—a swept area that hangs tough under aggressive stopping and a carrier that prevents heat transfer.
Choose from a standard floater or our Profile™ design. The waves on the perimeter of those bring a little flair to your bike and help provide greater cooling with increased surface area. The non-directional design means this rotor is equally at home in single- or dual-disc applications.
TC Bros. recommends use of semi-sintered or full-sintered pads in conjunction with our brake discs. As with any brake service, using new pads is mandatory. In keeping with standard shop practice, completely and thoroughly cleaning the disc(s) using soap and water is required before installation. Washing the friction surface, carrier, and rivets and then drying the rotor(s) is critical to ensure packing oil and rivet lubricant do not contaminate the brake pads.
