TC Bros. Belt-to-Chain Drive Conversion Kit for 2000-2005 Harley-Davidson Dyna
Bros. Belt-to-Chain Conversion Kit for Harley-Davidson Dyna 2000-2005
This TC Bros. 530 chain drive conversion kit is the easy way to get rid of the stock belt and pulley setup on your Harley-Davidson.
- Accepts 530 chain (available separately)
- Choice of finish
- Steel sprockets front and rear
- 24/51 sprocket ratio is comparable to most factory final drive ratios
- Reduces future labor to final drive
- Withstands driveline shocks belts can’t
- Sprocket lock included
Harley-Davidson belt drives have a lot going for them—they’re quiet, low maintenance, and long-lived. However, they have a lot of shortcomings, too—they don’t tolerate abuse or extreme shock, they severely limit alteration of wheelbase or ride height, and they require lots of labor if a belt is in need of replacement. Changing final drive ratio is also much more complicated. Some riders are just better off with a chain.
This conversion kit from TC Bros. contains a USA-made front steel sprocket and durable steel rear sprocket in your choice of finish, and both will provide long-lasting performance. The 24-tooth front sprocket and 51-tooth rear sprocket bolt in place of your existing pulleys and provide gearing that is nearly identical to your OEM belt setup. The only item you need to add is an appropriate 530 chain (available separately). These kits are a smart choice for riders who load and unload the driveline aggressively or have high-output engines. They're ideal for machines with altered wheelbases due to extended swingarms or modified frames, or riders seeking a more traditional look than a belt provides.
Kits are designed for stock motorcycles using stock alloy or wire spoke wheels, tires, swingarm, and frame. They’re plenty adaptable, but if you’re using this kit in a modified application, you may need to fabricate or machine components to achieve proper chain alignment.
