TC Bros. Louvered Air Cleaner for Harley-Davidson CV Carburetors and EFI Throttle Bodies
TC Bros. Louvered Air Cleaner for Harley-Davidson CV Carburetors and EFI Throttle Bodies
Ham can. Dog dish. Football. Ever notice that none of the nicknames for a factory air cleaner are very flattering? It’s because they lack a certain aesthetic appeal. Replace that factory-style air cleaner and show off your engine with this TC Bros. Choppers louvered air cleaner kit.
- Compact design to show off the engine
- Available in two finishes
- High-performance air filter element is washable and reusable
- Two different cover retaining bolts are included to suit your style
- Reminiscent of speed equipment fitted to early hot rod carburetors
- For Big Twin and Sportster
The kit features a CNC-machined, powder coated steel mounting bracket that is proudly made in the USA. Included mounting hardware is recessed to provide proper sealing surface for the included high-flow filter element, which is reusable and designed specifically to provide the appropriate amount of air for this air cleaner assembly.
This kit includes a round head screw to affix the outer cover, as well as a chrome tri-wing bolt for a touch of hot rod flair—choose the look you prefer. This ultra-compact kit is designed to fit most Harley-Davidson Big Twin and Sportster models using factory CV carburetors or factory electronic fuel injection (EFI) throttle bodies; please see fitment notes for more detail. Our install video walks you through the process of getting the air cleaner onto your machine, which is a breeze.
When replacing a factory air cleaner on carbureted models, it is imperative that the carburetor be supported; we recommend the use of a TC Bros. support bracket or equivalent. Provisions for breathing must be made for later motorcycles that use cylinder head breathers; we recommend our breather bolt kits or an equivalent. Not legal for sale or use in California.
Tuning is recommended for all applications; this includes rejetting carburetors or altering fuel maps for fuel injected motorcycles to account for the increased airflow.
