Wyatt Gatling 2.2 Gallon Coffin Gas Tank

Wyatt Gatling 2.2 Gallon Coffin Gas Tank

Wyatt Gatling 2.2 Gallon Coffin Gas Tank

The coffin tank is a staple item for a period chop. This one looks just right with a set of six-bend bars and a crazy-tall king-and-queen seat for that classic vibe.

  • 2.2 gallon capacity
  • Pressure-tested
  • Accepts screw-in style fuel cap; not included
  • Threaded ports to accept 1/4" petcock
    • Unused port will need to be plugged; plugs available separately
  • 18" L at top, 17" at bottom
  • 4" W at front, 3" at rear
  • 8" H at tallest point
  • Tunnel 1-1/2" H × 1-13/16" W × 17" L

Though these tanks are pressure tested from the factory, pressure testing before applying filler or paint is standard practice. If needed, you may elect to seal with a tank sealer before painting. For the same reason, we encourage thorough, solid mounting—stress on the tank or mounting hardware will eventually lead to cracks.
