Moto Iron 3.3 Gallon Mustang Gas Tank

Moto Iron 3.3 Gallon Mustang Gas Tank

Moto Iron 3.3 Gallon Mustang Gas Tank

Need a little more capacity? A Mustang-style tank will get you home. Literally.

  • 3.3 gallon capacity
  • Pressure-tested
  • Accepts bayonet-style (cam-lock) fuel caps; not included
    • Bike requires two vented caps
  • Threaded ports to accept either 3/8" petcock or 1/4" petcock
    • Unused port(s) will need to be plugged; plugs available separately
  • Tongue-type mounts
  • 11" W at front of tank × 7" H at tallest point behind the fillers
  • 16-1/2" long tunnel
  • 2-3/4" wide tunnel

Though these tanks are pressure tested from the factory, pressure testing before applying filler or paint is standard practice. If needed, you may elect to seal with a tank sealer before painting. For the same reason, we encourage thorough, solid mounting—stress on the tank or mounting hardware will eventually lead to cracks.
